Session Topic

Leaders are always trying to develop new ways to increase effective communication within their organization. However, before a leader can begin to try to change the way others communicate, the first step is to bring forward how one communicates. 

This session gives you the chance to explore your own communication style, first deconstructing it, and then looking at ways you can reconstruct it, to become a champion communicator. It is a process that will enhance not only your own ability to communicate, but you will gain an understanding as to how others communicate. This knowledge is gained though the facilitation of a Clarity4D communication profiling process. 

Clarity4D communication profiling was developed in England and is now recognized around the world as a communication training program that results in creating a pathway forward to build relationships through effective communication, at work and beyond. As we all strive to communicate more effectively with each other at work, developing communication skills through the Clarity4D process brings forward the tools and techniques that are unique to each person within a team. The Clarity4D approach results in developing new ways to communicate and to understand how communication differs for each person. As many are aware, these personality profiling, coaching, and development programs are not new in the corporate world, but what is unique to Clarity4D is that it is a learning process that ensures real change in organizational communication takes place. This brings forward the results clients are looking to achieve as a result of such forms of self-discovery and learning. 

Note: Attendees will be provided with a free Clarity4D communication profile, which will be required to be completed prior to the session. 

About the Facilitators

Judy Oliver, Commercial Director of Clarity4D, Stamford, Engalnd, UK

Judy is one of the founders of Clarity4D.  This business began in England, in 2008 when Judy and others felt that there was an opportunity to create a quality personality profile that was Simple, Affordable, Global and Effective. Judy has a passion for combining education and personal development with organisational productivity. It is these 3 elements that help her and the Clarity4D family enlighten and unlock the potential of young people, individuals, and teams through the 4 Dimensions of personal development – Discover, Discuss, Diversify and Develop. She takes great pride in seeing the global growth of Clarity4D and believes it is important to be your authentic self. Nancy Thompson, CEO, 5D Corporate Teaching and Learning

Nancy is the CEO of 5D Corporate Teaching and Learning Centre. In October 2023, she will be receiving her Doctorate in Educational Leadership, from Western University. Her field of work and research has been focused on learning and development in corporate and community organizations. She also holds a Master’s in Global Leadership, from the University of Fredericton. Nancy has played a lead role in learning and development in many industries, such as construction, manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors. She has sat on the international committee of the Instructional Skills Workshop Network, for over 6 years.

Wanda Harbin, Educator and Facilitator

Wanda is an experienced senior consultant, having led the learning and development of an organization in Nova Scotia that employed over 1,300 employees. She is skilled in research, management, and adult education. As an experienced Instructional Skills Network facilitator, she is experienced within the execution of communication profile products such as Insights and Clarity4D. She values the knowledge one can gain of one-self through the utilization of these tools. Yet, more importantly, she is passionate about bringing the direct benefits of Clarity4D to organizations that are looking to enhance communication among their employees and executive teams.
