4) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Where to Start? Webinar – FREE
The need to strengthen workplace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is front of mind in virtually all corners of our society. Today’s leader knows that making their workplace welcoming and diverse is not just right, it is good for business.
This new outlook has also created new challenges. Knowing the importance is not enough. We need to know how to bring Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion into the workplace in a meaningful way.
The reality is, most leaders are not sure where the path to a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace starts. Do we start with recruitment strategies? Do we invest in equitable accommodations right out of the gate? Or do we work on trying to be more inclusive in our day to day?
This webinar follows immediately from the CCRW’s, so why not make it a lunch of exploring the expanded and current topic of EDI.
Date: Tuesday, January 25, 2022

1) Working when sick: How workplace regulations and culture will impact the post pandemic recovery
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the clearest directives from public health officials has been that people should stay home and avoid contact with others when they are feeling sick. In practice, staying home from work is not that easy. Not all employees have access to paid sick leave, meaning that missing a day or shift of work has financial consequences. And many of those who have the option of taking a paid sick day may nevertheless be reluctant to do so because of a workplace culture that is not conducive to taking time off.
