Weaving the Web: Seeing Workplace Systems Through an Equity Lens- FREE Webinar
Workplace challenges rarely exist in isolation — they are part of a larger web of systems, processes, and relationships. This session introduces a modern workplace framework inspired by symbolic teachings about webs in Indigenous traditions, which speak to connection, interdependence, and the meaning carried in each thread.
Participants will explore four types of threads through HR scenarios: Radial threads highlight how equity-focused purpose and direction are set; Spiral threads reveal how patterns of practice evolve and either reinforce or disrupt inclusion; Sticky threads surface systemic bias and barriers; and Strong threads point to equitable policies, strengths, and opportunities for change. Together, these perspectives offer a practical way to reweave workplace systems toward greater fairness and inclusion.
