Webinar: Creating Culture of Belonging

November 18 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Program Overview

Description

Creating a culture of belonging takes more than good intentions. It requires consistent actions, supportive policies, inclusive leadership, and everyday workplace practices that help people feel respected, valued, and able to contribute.

Designed for HR professionals and people leaders, this interactive virtual session examines how workplace systems, language, behaviors, and leadership practices can strengthen belonging or unintentionally create barriers. Participants will explore privilege, bias, allyship, and psychological safety, while identifying practical ways to move organizational commitments into meaningful employee experiences.

Learning Outcomes

  • Identify workplace behaviors, practices, and signals that strengthen or undermine belonging
  • Recognize how bias, privilege, and organizational systems can influence employee experiences and opportunities
  • Apply principles of allyship and psychological safety to common HR and workplace situations
  • Identify practical actions HR can take to strengthen belonging through policies, communication, leadership support, and everyday practices
