Beyond Compliance: Building Accessible Workplaces

October 14 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Are your HR practices truly accessible or just compliant? This session invites HR professionals to look beyond checklists and explore what meaningful disability inclusion actually looks like in the workplace. We’ll introduce key concepts like the social model of disability, anti-ableism, and neurodiversity, and take an honest look at the hidden barriers that exist in everyday work processes. You’ll leave with new language, fresh perspectives, and a few practical tools to get started. The session will also highlight pathways for continued learning and professional development for those interested in exploring accessibility and disability inclusion in greater depth.
