CPHR-NL is pleased to announce that Ms. Cathy Bennett, MHA Windsor Lake, will be giving the keynote address at the 2018 CPHR-NL Annual General meeting. Ms. Bennett will share her insights and experiences as a human resources leader in managing the change from private business ownership to the public service.

Speaker Profile
Before being elected to the House of Assembly in 2014, Cathy Bennett was the CEO of her own company, which included commercial and industrial construction and manufacturing, human resource support, restaurants, industrial supply and real estate. She has held board positions on several publicly traded companies and has been actively involved in numerous not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Bennett’s community and business leadership has been recognized with numerous awards including Atlantic Canada’s Top CEO. She is also a member and a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors program.
