Protecting human rights is an important goal for every individual and for society as a whole. In the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Human Rights Act sets out rules that ensure the protection of individuals from discrimination and harassment.

HRPNL welcomes Carey Majid of the Human Rights Commission to present on sexual harassment and gender based harassment through an introduction to the Human Rights Commission and the Human Rights Act. The presentation will speak to what is it; what an employer’s responsibilities is to prevent and deal with sexual harassment; and what to include in a sexual harassment policy.
