Congratulations Tami MacDonald for receiving the FCPHR Designation!

The Fellow CPHR is a prestigious program that recognizes Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) who have made exemplary contributions to the HR profession. Recipients are granted recognition as a Fellow of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources.

This year we want to congratulate Tami MacDonald for receiving the FCPHR recognition!

In addition to being a devoted wife, daughter, sister and friend, Tami’s career path and professional identity embodies the field of human resources. With over 25 years of progressive experience in human resource management, she has honed her skills in departmental management across three countries, strategic planning, leading innovative projects, and the effective management of organizational change. Her professional journey spans multiple sectors, including aerospace, consulting, and healthcare bott for the private and public sectors it was here where she consistently delivered impactful solutions and fostered collaborative environments.

She has worked with and for a range of esteemed organizations, including the Department of Health, all four Regional Health Authorities in Newfoundland and Labrador, the Newfoundland and Labrador Center for Health Information, and currently, Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services as they unify under one organizational framework. Her expertise extends to guiding strategic HR initiatives that align with business objectives, while fostering a culture of growth, adaptability, and excellence.

In addition to her leadership roles, she is deeply committed to supporting the human resources profession. She is currently serving as Chief Staffing Officer and Vice-President with CPHR Newfoundland and Labrador. Her passion for mentorship is evident through her active role in mentoring new human resource practitioners, fostering the development of the next generation of human resource leaders.

Throughout her career, she has continuously embraced challenges, led transformative change, and built strong teams that drive organizational success. Her dedication to professional growth and industry advancement has equipped her with a well-rounded perspective that benefits both the organizations she serves and the human resource profession at large.

In addition to her work, she has a passion for outdoors that includes walking, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and being creative.
