Financial Analysis Program for HR

This 2-day program provides fundamentals for translating finance and accounting concepts into decision-making tools, techniques, and frameworks that you can use at work right away. You will learn how to apply the basics of finance and accounting to help you understand and convey to others HR’s impact on the bottomline now and in the future. There are several practice exercises where you learn how to create HR budgets using a Zero-based approach as well as an Incremental approach.
Participants learn how to analyze financial statements (Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, Statements of Retained Earnings), create and forecast HR budgets, and apply financial principles to real-world situations. You will also get hands-on experience forecasting/projecting HR budgets using a Common-size approach. Come and learn about when to ‘expense’ a transaction and when to ‘capitalize’ it instead.
