CPHR CPD hours: 1.0
Description
We live in a fast-paced world. Demands on our time and attention are getting more complex by the day. Many of us barely make it through our busy days with constantly mounting tasks, emails and to-do lists. There is too little time left over to focus on our health, and it’s all too common for people to feel tired, fatigued and unhappy. It doesn’t have to be this way. Years of research into longevity, happiness and fulfillment have allowed us to compile several core principles for successful aging. Cutting-edge technologies that screen for heart disease and cancers, research into aging, and programmatic changes around mindfulness, exercise and diet allow people to not only survive, but thrive!
Learning Objectives:
What poor lifestyle choices will do to a person.
What can be done to improve health.
The role of exercise, diet and mindfulness in longevity.
What the ‘blue zones’ of longevity are and what they can teach us.
How preventative healthcare empowers us in our quest to stay strong while living longer.
