SUMMARY:CPHR Atlantic: Psychological Safety for Leaders Certification
DESCRIPTION:Course Description \nPsychological safety directly effects employee attention and engagement\, innovation\, creativity\, and the ability to work together and solve the complex challenges that organizations face. According to the National Standard\, “Workplaces with a positive approach to psychological health and safety are better able to recruit and retain talent\, have improved employee engagement\, enhanced productivity\, are more creative and innovative\, and have higher profit levels”. \nAligned with the National Standard CSA-Z1001 for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace\, this 3 month program follows the principal of ‘spaced out learning’ combined with a mix of asynchronous learning and virtual or in-person workshops. A variety of materials and lots of interaction will also ensure learners of all styles can maximize their experience. \nTime commitment: \n\nApproximately 1-2 hours per week \nOne 2-3 hour group coaching session or webinar every 4 weeks\nTotal commitment is approximately 35 hours\, spread over 12 weeks with a mix of asynchronous (on own time at own pace) and synchronous (live\, facilitated webinars/group coaching)\n\nCPHR Atlantic Exclusive! Learners who complete this program will get dedicated one-on-one support from Phil to bring their learnings back to their workplaces! \nIn the month following the course\, Phil will collaborate with each participant to support the development of a focused action plan tailored to their organization’s needs. Through strategic guidance\, they’ll distill key insights from the certification into actionable steps\, laying the groundwork for impactful implementation and the enhancement of psychological safety within each participants organization.   \n  \nMeet the facilitator and learn more about the program below: \n  \n  \nAbout the Facilitator \n\n\n\n  \nPhil Jewell\, Founder\, Impact Leadership \n \nPhil is a graduate of the British Army’s Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst\, arguably the world’s best leadership school. He has served with the British\, Canadian\, and US Army. By his mid-twenties he was leading soldiers in overseas combat\, going on to serve as a senior leader working alongside nations and cultures from around the world. His subsequent journey led him to becoming an executive in both the provincial and federal governments\, as well as an academic leadership instructor\, before launching two successful businesses\, one being his boutique leadership development business. He is a certified executive coach\, has held the project management professional (PMP) designation\, and has an MA in Disaster and Emergency Management. He is a lifelong learner trying to show up every day.
