DESCRIPTION:Navigating the Challenges of Employing Foreign Workers\n \nJoin us as Meghan Felt\, explores the criteria and processes for hiring foreign workers.  This session will cover a myriad of factors impacting the hiring process for foreign workers including Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIA); International Mobility Program (IMP) and Work Permit Application processes and auditory regimes and compliance issues.\n \n \nMeghan Felt\nMeghan Felt is a Partner in the McInnes Cooper St. John’s office and is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick Law School. Practicing in the Labour and Employment Unit with a particular focus on immigration\, Meghan has represented countless clients with Canadian immigration issues.  Her clientele ranges from individuals seeking temporary resident visas\, study permits\, work permits and permanent residency to large corporations seeking labour market impact assessments and work permits to hire foreign workers. Meghan is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Canadian Bar Association.
